Welcome. Hello! My name is Glenn Goodrich, a
whitewater rafting guide of over 30 years.
This is not a marketing web site, but just one that
I have fun with. It keeps my friends informed
of what I am doing and what trips I have planned.
Also, I have traveled all over the world and
have adventure stories from near and far to share.
Most of my trips have been setting up private trips
for former or part-time raft guides.
Having been in the whitewater rafting business, I
have met hundreds of raft guides through the years
I have been one of the very few that have made a
career out of being a raft guide.
Typically a raft guide works two to four
years, then realizes what little money there is in
it and they then get a real job.
Though they get a real job, rafting is still in
their blood and many would love to use their
vacation time to go on a raft trip.
That’s where I come in, I try to plan one or
two of these trips a year and they often become
quite an adventure.
For those that can’t make my trips, I often
send out trip reports by e-mail.
My friends say that they enjoy hearing about
what I’m doing, so when my good friend, Wendy Woods,
gave me this web site, I decided to make it a site
about my adventures.

Have Fun!!!
I saw a seminar on
the Fish Market in Seattle
and there were four points made related to the great
attitudes of the employees there.
I don’t remember two of the points, but the
other two really sums up my personality.
One is that YOU can choose your attitude and
I always choose to be in a good mood and that keeps
me going to always have a good time at everything I
do. The
other is simply to have fun, which I always do.
So have fun with this site!

My schedule is
included so that people can find me and there will
be some photos posted, my resume, riverlog, and my
13 year plan to raft guide all over the country and
in
South America. The Where's G page
is my current updates on what I am doing right now.

In the March/April issue of Paddler Magazine in
2004, there was a feature of 8 “classic raft guides”
and I was proud to be one of the ones featured.
I thank all of my friends and my customers
who nominated me for that.
There is a link provided to that article.
Also in the June issue of Canoe/Kayak magazine on
page 38, there is an interview with me about tips on
running private trips.
