I
have three lifetime goals related to the states of our
country. One is to visit all 50 states, of which the State
of North Dakota had eluded me until my trip up to Alaska. Second is to paddle in all
fifty states. Not sure where I'm going to find rivers in
Rhode Island or Delaware, but I'll find something to paddle.
16 States to go here. I need to try and paddle in a new state
every year, then I can make that goal. Got New Hampshire in
2004, and got Indiana and New Jersey in 05, then New Mexico this
spring. Third is combined with our neighbor, Canada. I
want to ski in at least 30 states or provinces. Can't go for
all fifty in this category, as I don't see Florida opening up a
ski area in the near future.
