Guide Schools and Raft Guide Training Programs

One of my favorite things to do is training raft guides and in recent years I have worked with five training programs during the year.  To get more details on any one of the two training programs I am doing this year, you may click on the organization and it will bring you to their web site.  Below I have outlined the two programs along with dates and other details.  For 2007 I will again be working with Smoky Mountain Outdoors on the Pigeon River and USA Raft on the French Broad

USA-Raft French Broad

Guide training on the French Broad will take place during two intensive weeks from May 8^th through May 19^th.  Training will be focused on paddle boat guiding and learning to guide on the French Broad River.

Usa-Raft Nolichucky

Guide training on the Nolichucky will be incorporated into the French Broad training above..  Training will be focused on paddle boat guiding and learning to guide on the Nolichucky River.
