Reports of Past Trips
***My Africa report is Out!***
Traditionally, after a big trip, I write up a
report of that trip and send it via e-mail to my friends.
It got to be such a regular event that if I didn’t send
one out, people would write me and ask where the report was.
This section of the web site is a small collection of my trip
reports. Included in this section is a story I did about my first
descent on the
Nevis
River
in
New Zealand. To
this day the Nevis is the most intense run I have ever done.
I wrote this in the
winter of 1987, soon after I got back from the November /December
Oceania trip to Fiji, New Zealand, Australia
and
Tahiti. The story got
published in the Lexington
,
Kentucky’s Bluegrass Wildwater Association’s newsletter.
I will
continue to post reports here after each trip I do in the future.
Have fun living
vicariously, but better yet, join me on the next one!
